I mean I get WHY they cost as much as they do, but yeah, the price is a real bummer. Personally I absolutely move the LiveWire DelRay (or something like that) emotorcycle. At some point the price for these motorcycles will come down to a level that might be less than a regular gasoline motorcycle since they are technically so much more simple. Until that time comes, I am more than happy cruising around town in my ebike for a fraction of the price.

Why do they cost as much as they do? I’m pretty new to this

The batteries are super expensive. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if 1/2 the price goes to pay for batteries. That means that most of these 1st gen EV motorcycles are sold at a loss (or very tight margins)

Greenworks showed off their lineup of bikes and motorcycles just the other day, and now Ego? When is Ryobi and Dewalt going to show off their offerings?

Wouldn’t be surprised if Harbor Freight joined in the fun with “Earthquake” and “Warrior” micromobility vehicles lol

Greenworks lineup is really comprehensive though!
