I’m not one for conspiracy theories but I do look at as many angles as I can think of. This seems like a perfect opportunity to settle out of court and thus funnel millions of tax dollars to a militia that will serve trump to the end.

I’m 100% convinced these Nazi militias make up the majority of the “ICE agents” we’re seeing. That’s why they don’t identify themselves. These fuckers deserve anything they get.

Oh, no need to wonder - liberals have successfully convinced themselves that disarming themselves is the answer.

Pretty sure disarming everyone was the answer. But I don’t see gun enthusiasts stepping up to stop fascism, so looks like gun aren’t a part of it.

And yet here we are in reality, with all these guns, and you mfers don’t do anything. Pansy-asses. You’re like a force fed goose.

Jesus christ, how many times does this need to be spelled out?

There are people who agree that guns are bad and they are disarming themselves. There are people who disagree and are arming themselves. It just so happens they also support the current govt.

If you could go back 40 years ago and change so many things, sure taking guns away seems like a good call. It is not to anyone that actually understands reality.

Exception, not the rule - and the people downvoting me prove it. No one likes to be told their worldview is wrong.

Edit: look into ideologically driven murders in the U.S., then look at ICE getting 20k more troops and natl guard deployed to LA. Look at the toys they have and tell me your hunting rifle is going to do anything when they have fucking tanks and riot armor.

Good thing the NRA are there to imply the right to bear arms against foreign enemies and kings as is their argument every single time. Perhaps they will implement it now. Perfect opportunity.

            Anytime now…

Good thing we didn’t take their guns…

            Any

            Time

            Now….

Oh and your entire idea is to blame the dems for this too.

This isn’t a theory, white protecting white is baked into the founding documents of this country. Of course it’s a scam to funnel money, that’s all they do

I know I’m commenting from different country, but the following quote by a judge in Australia is always worth keeping in the back of your head if you manage to get let off a serious crime…

Having escaped the lion’s den, Mr Lehrmann made the mistake of coming back for his hat

That was a line said by a judge in Australia during his conclusion of a very high profile rape case.

    The story,

Bruce Lehrmann faced charges of rape. This case was very big in Australia because the rape occurred in an office at Parliament House and the government covered it up because there was an election coming up.

The criminal trial was abandoned because the case was having a very detrimental effect on the victim’s mental health.

Later, Bruce Lehrmann sued a number of journalists for defamation… And lost… So now Bruce Lehrmann is forever branded a rapist. The judge delivered the above quote during his final decision.

While I love that scenario, I think the likelier outcome in this case is that a lot of taxpayer money goes straight towards energising brownshirts.

I kinda doubt that one. Trump isn’t going to make the government pay unless it’s going into his own pockets or directly benefiting him.

Peddling funds to an armed “militia” that has already proven to be ready to kill for him does directly benefit Trump.

Going by rules for rulers logic, this makes perfect sense, as its a way for Trump to divert part of “the treasure”(tax payer money) to one of his keys to power(a cult militia willing to literally die for him).

You remove them by putting them in jail. Allowing capital punishment for anyone inevitably allows it for innocents. It is a weapon of the state, and should not be tolerated under any circumstances.

The problem wasn’t the incarceration of Proud Boys, it was the lack of incarceration for the fascists who enabled them.

Yeah, let’s just keep taking the moral high road. Eventually shitty people will just stop existing. There’s no reason to actively work on removing them. 🥴

Shit will keep flowing into a sewage treatment plant if you don’t treat the sewage. In the end you just end up with a mountain of shit to deal with and the problem is much more difficult to manage.

That’s been the general understanding but may not be true. Up until 2016, America has relied on the government respecting the conventional way a lot of things are done. But there have been the occasional deviation.

It was controversial when Ford pardoned Nixon for not specifying what he was being pardoned for.

Last year Biden pardoned his son to protect him from possible persecution by a future government, also controversial.

Who knows, maybe Trump will shit out a tweet tomorrow declaring these idiots are completely innocent of any crime. Any challenge to that would need to be heard by the Supreme Court. Would the current Supreme Court intervene, I doubt it.

Your simple, one sentence question had given me way too much to think about.
