Freddy Kristiansen, 59, was laid off in May after 23 years working for Microsoft's Denmark office. He is still turning up to the office.

I didnt read the article, I’ll say commitment to your fellow workers and a sense of ownership/pride for the work you did for 23 years is laudable… but not under capital
