“The places that are affected were Jalan P. Ramlee, Jalan Langkawi (Kebun Lama), Taman Rampas (Sungai Pinang), Jalan Perak, Lilitan Stadium, Persiaran Perak (Astaka Stadium),” it said in a statement posted in their Facebook.

Apart from the ponding, the city council said several mature trees have fallen on public roads due to strong winds during the storm.

Two places with toppled trees are at Jalan Loh Poh Heng in Tanjung Bungah and Taman Bukit Saujana in Paya Terubong.
