Islamisation is no longer creeping, they don’t even bother hiding it anymore.

And if you wanna say that religious values are good and should be taught to everyone, why not teach the 5 precepts of Buddhism? It’s only 5 after all, way easier to remember compared to 40.

And admit other faiths exist with their own moral precepts? Gasp

And this isn’t even the core of the religion. Yes, if you’re Muslim, hadiths play an important role but it shouldn’t be presented to have the same definitive quality as the Quran. Hadith validity isn’t even a settled field for all the big names being named like this guy here. It’s such a political project over which hadith gets normed and which don’t, that they get away with because we get so terrorized into not wanting to look like bad Muslims or islamophobes

This is a problem I know some moderates face 😔. It truly sucks that they will bully you into submission using religion.

Let me pick out a few samples:

    • Hadith 5, paraphrased: “He who does an act which our matter is not [in agreement] with will have it rejected.”
    • Hadith 7: “Religion is sincerity”. We said: “To whom?” He said: “To Allah and His Book, and His messenger, and to the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk”.
    • Hadith 16: A man said to the prophet: “Counsel me”. He said: “Do not become angry”. The man repeated [his request] several times, and he said: “Do not become angry”.
    • Hadith 18: “Fear Allah wherever you are, and follow up a bad deed with a good one and it will wipe it out, and behave well towards people.”

I’m not sure if the ministry intend to implement it like the Jawi module, just a few pages and point out where Jawi script is used. Or like Islamic history as taught in our secondary history syllabus, which is rather comprehensive.
