Thailand has some weird laws… Not sure why a bunch of Americans risk going there
The sirens call of being able to exploit so many people in so many ways even though one is only a labor aristocrat is strong.
Protesting in Thailand is practically a national pass-time.
I don’t really know, but these arrests are not necessarily an indicator that Thailamd is stifling discussion around Myanmar. It’s more that arresting a few people is the only way to shut down protests generally.
Notably, everyone got suspended sentences. So they’re not going to do any actual time if they keep their noses clean.
