Serious question: what does Russia have to run out of to lose the war besides people?

      Oil and gas sales.

Yea if we would close the Baltic sea to block the shadow fleet of Russian oil tankers the war would be over quickly. The thing is if we do that we need to physically block them which would be considered a direct aggression. Russia would send war ships too and whoops, WW3.

Wars end in negotiations, or when one side runs out of people or land, or when the population decides they’d rather fight someone else (like their leaders). Everything else is just either a means to get one of those, or make one of those more effective.

Tanks are a thing to make people better, money is a thing you use to buy people, defenses are a thing to make land better, etc etc.

      Putin’s approval ratings?

Kinda doubt that matters. It would take a revolution not just some arbitrary number provided by the Kremlin to topple him.

I don’t mean the numbers provided by the Kremlin. I’m referring to the concept itself. As long as Russians are fine with that dickhead at the helm, his approval rating is ‘acceptable’.

As long as they have warm bodies to throw at the problem, they’ll use fucking bikes if they have to. Only solution is for UA to keep the grinder on at max setting.

i’m sure they’ll find some way to exploit cold bodies toward these purposes as well somehow.

Or, they’ll just use the ancient russia tactic of “nothing”. As in “Here’s nothing, go attack!”
