I think most liberals totally missed the reframing of season 2. They think the “we care about the innies” turn is a way to trick the innies into thinking things will be better now. But it’s such a great example of what corporations do to appear to have the workers interests in mind while continuing the same oppressive activity.
If they’re famous then I’m fucking up a good thing for my outie who’s living on top of the world right now. Keeping workers subordinate by tying their productivity to the satisfaction of someone else’s life is another common tactic to keep workers in line.
