“Kidnapped from his tank” has to be one of the most self-evidently egregious bits of journalistic malpractice from this whole thing.

It takes no context at all to know that if someone is in a tank, they’re a solider, and soldiers don’t get “kidnapped”, they get captured.

There can’t even be a subconscious bias by “journalists” who have fully bought the propaganda making them write it without thinking about it. There’s no way to mentally form the phrase “kidnapped from his tank” without absolutely knowing what you’re doing.

I would say I hope they feel a little shame each time they write that, but I know they don’t.

What you don’t just take your tank on a cruise around town? Pop out in the tank to get some groceries?

My state won’t even let me drive a tank around town anymore, all because of Big Woke.

To lie like they do, you must know the truth and dance around it, for blood money.

        No rehabilitation for stenographic mercenaries.

This ridiculous wording broke my brain. I thought maybe hamas liberated a killer whale or something, like maybe they’ve got a peta arm. Dumb, sure, but not as dumb as this. I don’t even feel bad, “kidnapping” a soldier is too stupid to consider

I was having a hard time myself wondering who was being kept in a terrarium and why.

Like you said, the real thing is actually more dumb.
