I took “streamers” as to mean “youtube personalities,” not actual, you know, scripted shows. I think the individual talking at the camera is a bad format, and always have. Very few have leveraged it in any meaningfully artistic way, and some of the few who have turned out to be total fucking assholes, like the guy who did Americanface (which is one of the few artistic and well-done one-person-talking-at-a-camera films to this day). I still think Americanface is a pretty good film, but he turned into an anti-trans fucking bigot.
