They don’t know. I’ve talked to Albertans about this, and when you actually ask them what they’re mad about, they struggle to answer. They’ve grown up being taught that everyone else in Canada is fucking over their province, to the point where the actual specifics don’t even matter. It’s just an article of faith.

My wife is Albertan. We lived there for 20 years, worked, paid taxes, started a family, voted. About 10 years ago we moved to Nova Scotia, my home.

We used to be hard-working people but apparently we’re just bums now even to our own family and former friends. Fuck those albertans. They make the rest of us who actually worked hard and turned that place into something, outcasts for no reason other than their own stupidity and greed.

I hope they sink. Every last one of them.

There are people in Alberta who don’t want to separate. In fact, the majority don’t want to separate. This move will only be bad for the fascists. They will devide their voting base, and the ndp will take power again.

All I see is a win for Alberta the more these fascists talk about separation.

And if this is true, Albertans will stand up and take their government. Something they’ve done once in the past at least. I hope they do. Until that day however…
