I get that I am being melodramatic & going way too hard on this cartoonists &, in all fairness, the comic itself is pretty funny.
But goddamn if I am not sick & tired of lazy ass cartoonists that just draw white blobby dudes one step up from stick men. Fucking LAME.
I put “hilarious comics” into DDG & just LOOK at the mess of blobby white people drawn over shitty (or no) backgrounds combined with way too many words. Prince Valiant these ain’t.
Diminishing returns on effort. Maybe you are the one person who’s offended enough to not patronize the media, but if the creator can get popular with less effort, why not?
Note to self: the secret to a good webcomic (or any comic) is…intricate backgrounds???
