“The woman claimed she had made a wrong turn, causing her to panic as she entered the opposite lane on Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway, heading towards the Penang Bridge. She drove for about five kilometres before her vehicle collided with a Perodua Bezza car.

“The female driver also claimed not to know how to turn back and continue her journey. However, the police are still conducting further investigations regarding the incident (driving against the traffic),” he said at a press conference here today.

it’s sad what happened but how can you commit on this mistake for 5km? like why not just stop or something…

Yeah it’s very odd, like in every junction there’s that sign that point at what road is your lane, and i guess she missed that alongside with 2 millions sign stating she drive the wrong way. Probably very tired.

the fact that the police is investigating might suggest that there’s sth more to the story. i’m keen to see what actually made her do so and would like to see an update.

I mean it’s quite a major accident so of course the police need to get to the bottom of it to make sure everything is as what she said.

Doesn’t make sense at all. 5km!!! You dont think to stop on emergency lane?? Or make a uturn and go with traffic and exit next junction? Instead u keep going against traffic for 5km. The excuse of ‘panic’ just doesnt make sense, shes not 18yo teenagers ffs. Cant even notice the road signage?. Was she drunk?

have you had alcohol before? if you’re intoxicated with alcohol to the extent of not being able to make out the sign you won’t be able to drive for 5km.
