The irony is totally not lost that this Japanese Buddhist ceremony of honouring the spirits of the dead is taking place on the grounds of a former prison.

I’m seeing this as two different Japanese classes (craftsmen i.e. manufacturing @ Shah Alam; merchants @ lala) doing their own events.
