Knowing this “justice” system, they’d just fine him and add one extra deputy to the court room, when we all saw what happened to Mr Hops when he assaulted a judge… frigging murder charges almost.
I’d argue the wording strongly suggests a physical attack, however unlikely it may be. Noting it says tirade and attack separately as if a series of escalating events. In fact I was only interested in reading this article because I hoped it was an attempted physical attack which would really hurt his odds. Instead it’s just what we’ve already come to expect of him, not to excuse it.
Which sucks because it’s a treadmill from literal/physical to figurative/verbal. Today we have “slams” and “attacks”, I know I’ve already seen worse than that. Tomorrow it might be “punches”, “kicks”, “shoots”, “stabs”, I wouldn’t put it past clickbait journalism to get there one day. We’re gonna see headlines like “Man PHYSICALLY stabs his uncle after getting SLAMMED”
You do realize “attacks” doesn’t imply physically, right?
I wish it did because maybe he would be in jail already for assaulting a judge.

If he was a black man they would have restrained him and then claimed he was resisting while doing so so they could beat him.

Yea, they’re definitely trying to insinuate, but I’d hope people are marginally better at reading past the title after so many years of click bait…
