      Here’s what I’m talking about. Light mode to make it more obvious. It’s supposed to show a dimmed view of what’s behind, but instead shows just black until it’s swiped away entirely. That is something the app has started doing recently.

        Oh it’s way more jarring in light mode. I’m using amoled black with disabled animations so it looks fine to me.

          I think it’s just as jarring in amoled mode, which I use when it’s darker

            You find? Maybe it’s because it contrasts with the back button animation? I have that disabled so idk

              I’m used to it being a dimmed view of what is behind, so being brought to a black screen and that view just opening with zero animation is not correct and pretty annoying.
