minus-square@GenderNeutralBro@lemmy.sdf.orglinkfedilink17•1 year agoAccording to Wikipedia: it is not unusual to find sweet tea with a sugar level as high as 22 degrees Brix, or 22 g per 100 g of liquid, a level twice that of Coca-Cola." Coca-Cola already has a disgusting amount of sugar. The mere idea of this makes me queasy.
minus-square@bustrpoindextr@lemmy.worldlinkfedilink5•1 year agoYeah, I don’t like my sweet tea like that, but I’ve been to people’s houses that it’s just diabetes in a glass.
minus-square@ephemeral_gibbon@aussie.zonelinkfedilink2•1 year agoThat’s stupid sweet but not supersaturated though. Saturated would be ~200g per 100g of water.
