Honestly they could probably even pull off a whole cosmere MC universesque type thing… Although I think deals keep falling through because the author wants full creative control.

I mean looking at the ruins of the Game of Thrones franchise that David Benioff and D. B. Weiss left behind, maybe that’s not such a bad idea.
