The challenges faced by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have become more apparent as evident in their struggle to maintain business operations. This matter, if not dealt with, can pose a threat to the economy and society considering that SMEs make up 97.2% of business establishments and contribute 38.2% to the gross domestic product in 2020.
