Hello fellow nyets!
I’ve been meaning to set up PotW as a thing for this community, but I got distracted, and the low traffic isn’t helping. It’s a chicken and egg problem. But now it has been directly suggested to me so I gotta make it happen.
Every Monday, the top post from the “top week” list will be selected as the week’s PotW. It would be featured in the top of the sidebar.

As always, feedback and suggestions are welcomed! Adjustments will be made accordingly.
P.S. mod applications are implicitly always open. I’m looking for people who has more photography knowledge than me and has a lot to share wrt content and advice. :)

I can already see that the current method has no way of selecting an image in a post with images in the body either by vote or by bot, that doesn’t involve discretion by the mods (i.e. me). I guess you’d need to put the most representative image as the main image, which will be the one featured in the sidebar as PotW.
A collage of the album content can be a good way to represent the album. I might get myself or the bot (when I get to it) to do it.
