Hi everyone, is there any XTrail T30 and CRV RD1 owners here? I would like to ask if these two models are worth it for years to come. I have always interested i these two from my childhood years and planning to pick one as my first car. Is it worth it? From the common issues, maintenance and worst possible scenario that can come with it. Thank you.
They are both old very old cars, i wouldn’t recommend them as a reliable first car unless you don’t mind tinkering and maintaining it yourself, or spending some coins to have a trusted mechanic to look after it. things will need replacing, and finding one in good condition will be difficutl.
But between the two, if i had to pick i would personally go with the CRV. Perhaps a B18 swap could spice things up :) In the video, the driver is running completely stock suspension and gearbox. even the B18 engine is running on stock internals. If this doesn’t showcase how well engineered the car is, idk what can.
