ffs I was just listening to a couple of phone calls archived from a hacker crew who called the feds to talk shit and then tapped the fed phones to listen to them cry about it to the NSA. Hackers have been treating the US phone system like a phreakin playground for decades. But oh noes the scary chinese.

Security comes at the cost of operational efficiency.

One of the goals of wikileaks was to punish every cut corner of the state apparatus as to force them to increase security and therefore reduce efficiency (ie in a very indirect way the more secure the network the less bombs they can drop on children).

Since the US refuses to invest in anything other than bombs and has no shame about it’s many warcrimes being revealed they basically called this bluff leading to any opposing state with competent infosec being able to go wild with it.

Warner told the Post that the infiltration wasn’t directly related to the U.S. elections on Nov. 5, noting that hackers breached the system “months earlier,” and in some cases more than a year ago, though that logic is a bit confusing.

History began in <Year of last democrat electoral loss> therefore we are confused as to how it is possible for something to have occurred before then.
