I’ve not watched all of this, but like whenever someone here says they found some cool leftists flick, I throw it on my jellyfin for a rainy day. This is a lot of it. Also there’s a leftist movies torrent floating around here somewhere.

Two excellent British murder mystery shows–the former set in present-day northern England, the latter set in the south coast of WWII-era England. If I can only pick one, I’d give the edge to Vera, although both are superb.

    1. How To With John Wilson, it’s kinda like Man With A Movie Camera (1929) but with interviews and in new york

    2. Nathan For You, a downright funny parody of Bar Rescue-esque live action shows

    3. The Rehearsal, another Nathan show, this one is equally hilarious.

    4. Joe Pera Talks With You, sorta like John Wilson but super chill and relaxing

    5. RAP WORLD, insane mockumentary of insane motherfuckers in 2009

    6. Atlanta, a magical-realist show about a college dropout trying to make it in the music manager industry

    7. Andor, a star wars show (ew), but its really fucking good, it’s about revolutionaries.

    8. The Bear, a show about a failing family sandwich shop, its haute-cuisine owner, and their struggles to keep it afloat.

    9. BARRY, a depressed hitman tries to break into the acting world

    10. The Orville, Star Trek 2

    11. Get Out, really good jordan peele horror movie

    12. Sorry to Bother You, i fucking love Boots Riley

    13. Uncut Gems, an incredibly stressing movie about a gambler and his big shiny rock

    14. The Curse, also directed by one of the Safdie brothers, this is an incredibly stressing show about a white liberal couple, starring Nathan fielder from Nathan for you

    15. Knives Out, neat little Whodunnit.

    16. Glass Onion, same director, neat little Whodunnit, but a little worse than Knives Out

    17. Fired On Mars, pretty neat, emotionally honest adult animated comedy, kinda different from its peers

    18. This World Won’t Tear Me Down, another emotionally honest adult animated comedy about an Italian Cartoonist trying to survive the socio-political landscape of suburban Rome (the narrator fellow sometimes speaks too fast for people’s liking, it also doesn’t help that it was translated from a roman dialect)

    19. Arcane, straight up beautiful animated show with an un-paralleled cgi artstyle, Season 1 is definitely more solid than 2, though.
