Someone has to be saying it. If the bastards want to spout about getting rid of our migrant population, trans people, black people, etc then someone has to point out the real problem.

Counterpoint: Before men in suits we had men in blouses which not only did all of that but their war was also legal and the public received no benefits or guaranteed rights. We created our own men in suits as representatives to redistribute wealth of other men in suits and help each other.

For real tho…who has a problem with Mexicans? They’re chill af. They mind their own business and work like a beast. You need something done, find a Mexican that does that.

And at those BBQs, they’re gonna fix you a bomb ass plate of some awesome meat that they’ve been working on for hours.

I drank with 5 Mexicans at a restaurant total strangers and we could barely talk to each other. Used some Google translate. Great guys and gals. We drank some modelo and tequila. Chill as fuck.

Story as old as time, racists do. Anyone who sounds / looks “funny” is an alien, therefore bad. They could have a million of good interactions with “the other” and one slightly bad one, while they get a million bad ones and one good one from “their tribe”, and they’ll still rail on the “others” as a problem

I had a friend who with a partner had a small framing contracting company in Texas. He told me that they would only hire Mexican Americans/Mexicans because white boy bubbas we’re lazy and only want to fish.

Any foreigner. They come here to make something of themselves, probably spent an arm and a leg just a passport and the trip itself. They work retail/crap jobs and do whatever they need. You’ll most likely never find a homeless foreigner in usa. Not saying they don’t exist, but I’ve never met one.

      1. People who’ve never met one, and find it easier to blame others for their issues than blame themselves or their friends.

      2. People who think white people are better. It’s not that they hate Mexicans, per se, it’s just that Mexicans are obviously inferior (or they’d be white!), and they’re getting all uppity, wanting to be treated like equals or some such nonsense.

      3. A combination of the above.

Racists see the world as zero sum.

Privately, they believe that the Other (Mexicans, trans people, Muslims) holds the same views that they do. Some people do not mature/develop a theory of mind beyond a vague sense of tribalism.

Because given power, they would eliminate people unlike them, they assume that the Other would do the same.

Look into racist spirituality, ie White Identity - a common belief is something like racial “oversouls” which are naturally opposed to each other. Anything that benefits Black or Mexican folks are overt moves by those oversouls - affirmative action as a covert move to drive white men out.

The majority of these people don’t get into it/think about it enough to engage with the “oversouls” but I think it does align with their behavior. The internet has also unfortunately gotten things like Blavatsky and Evola into to the mainstream - dollars to donuts that the DOGE boys were introduced to those names on /pol/

    • Thanks for that! I find the phrase “rabid with greed” to be really apt. Like a rabid animal greed is the only part of them that exists anymore , it is their entire being and only drive

That’s one of the things I respect the hell out of with Bill Burr. He says plenty of shit I disagree with, but also says lots that I strongly agree with. His opinions are truly his own and he’ll voice them to a reasonable point. He’s no one’s parrot.

I see parts of myself in him, like if I was born a balding ginger Masshole manchild who somehow liked sports and cigars.

Which one was his last one. I liked paper tiger. His podcast is alright, i listened to it for a while, it just seemed a bit pointless to listen to every single week.
