Oshi no Ko S2 has been satisfying so far. This has been a really bleh season of anime overall for me. Heavy fan service and/or a step away from outright hentai will keep me from watching something and this summer has felt like a lot of fetishy stuff. And since most shows revolve around teens I just can’t watch that stuff.

Nice debunked conspiracy theories pushed by the GOP to vilify the ‘other’. I’d say try harder but you’re clearly a tool of the fascists.

Reanimation is soooo good. Still have my original copy of Hybrid Theory and it’s great, but the edits on Reanimation just work really well. Meteora is good though their constant experimentation can make some stinkers.

I’d never watch something you’re not into. It’s just miserable to force yourself to watch a show you don’t like. Juat because you read a manga doesn’t mean you should or need to watch its anime.

To help with smell in the washer we keep the liquid soap tray open after we finish using it. And leave the lid open most of the time. It seems to keep humidity down and the smell went away almost instantly.

Sure she has made comments about using jets and then does the opposite, but like it’s obviously going to happen. Notice these same people don’t talk about musks rampent jet usage. Or other celebrities. But again soon as the far right starts going after Swift we get inundated in these swift jet memes.

A lot of the shots in the trailer looked like shots from the original. And the mapping balls, with the same distribution method, felt the most ‘same’. Maybe that’s from a flashback, but it is still an unnecessary movie. Why make a new movie/story when you can do a lazy sequel that you hope cashes in on nostalgia.

The second I saw the drill going down I locally said, ‘why the fuck are you making a Twister remake’. Even pulling out the little wind ball things again. Putting an S on the name like it’s a sequel instead of the remake it appears to be.

Wondering if it’s not that healing magic is bad but they wanted to protect from Rose maybe? But the way they tried to show that felt really weird.

The basic answer is to control people and build targets for them to go after. As gay and lesbians were gaining more rights, see: marriage equality, the GOP/Republicans/Neo-Nazi elements that were beginning to gain power needed a new target. So they settled on trans people and started pushing the bullshit idea that they’re all pedophiles and mutilators of children’s genitals.

The science and standards of care do not allow for what the right is claiming. They just needed an easy villain and since their base is full of people who are easily manipulated with fear trans people were the perfect target. Why? Because trans people make up like .03% of the population so most of these people have never met one.

Hard to get into everything as I’m on my phone, but yeah. I’m trans myself but even if I wasn’t I would be able to see that their claims are absolute BS.

Because franchise owners can do whatever they want with the sign. But it’s also important to remember that the Dave Thomas Foundation donates to a lot of anti-lgbt groups. They’re big on the whole Christianity as a means to hate others thing.

Churning a stable of characters in WoW to unlock appearances. And various grinds in Destiny 2. Trying to play more Starcitizen.

Maybe a cynical outlook, but ‘AI’ becoming such a big deal is only going to serve as a means to take out the human element. Why have a person narrate or write your nature show when you can have ‘AI’ mimic a known quantity.

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid falls into the fantastical slice of life genre. Interviews with Demi-Girls is probably another one in terms of the setting. Unfortunately a lot of others would be isekai. Campfire Cooking in Another World would be one such isekai. Can’t remember the others without getting on my comp.

AI writing the story too?

It goes beyond tax money, but that’s a part of it for sure. Gambling in the USA at least helps prop up the ‘American Dream’ by keeping the under privileged poor and in-debt. Because at any minute they could become mega rich! Except they won’t especially as the addiction will tell them to double down and make them lose it all.
