Unfortunately, the switch from YouTube to PeerTube has not worked for me so far. I can’t find a decent instance (not full of right-wing/conspiracy content) with interesting stuff that also allows me to make an account.

It’s been a while since I read it but I know what you mean and I think I felt similarly.
I don’t know that trilogy yet. Thank you for the recommendation :)
You mean your friend is cheating on you and your friendship? Then yes. Your gf would definitely not be cheating here.
After only reading sci-fi for quite some time I started a Brandon Sanderson journey. Or more like a Cosmere journey. I started with Warbreaker, then Mistborn Era 1, then Stormlight Archives up to Rhythm Of War, then Mistborn Era 2 to bridge the gap to the Stormlight “Wind And Truth” release, which I’m still on currently, because I’m very slow lol.
What would you say is the best in its genre? I’m asking because I very much enjoyed the science, technical details and explainations in Project Hail Mary and The Martian. I’ve found not many Sci-Fi books with similar details in this regard so I would love suggestions :)
Well, no one said anything about completing or even progressing the tasks. Just switching between them
It’s unfortunately right up at the top just below the crotch. So underwear with 15 to 20 cm of leg is the most practical I’ve found so far.
My thighs rub against each other and get very sore when I wear my kilt. I always need to wear some kind of trunks/briefs with longer legs underneath to prevent it and it totally ruins the freedom and ventilation aspect :(
Not for me unfortunately. The inner parts of my thighs get very sore when I wear my kilt :(
In my opinion we’re doing more than enough genocide already, don’t you think?
I still think it should be called server-transparent instead of serverless. Makes it a little clearer.
And I thought this was a joke about Java Spring and Hibernate. I should work less…
I rarely use bookmarks, if I want to read something later, like articles or whatever. I use them for pages I need to visit frequently. If I want to save something to read it later, I used Omnivore in the past but they’re shutting down unfortunately.
I moved to Wallabag now and I’m happy so far. The UI is less polished than the one from Omnivore, but it works well.
The good thing about those tools is, that they save a snapshot of the site at the time you’re viewing it, so if it’s removed in the future, you still have it. You can also export it to PDF (and other formats, I think) and it integrates with Obsidian, that I use to offload stuff from my brain.
Nah, that’s why I wait for my wife to tell me to make toast so I can do that without. Mercenary mindset!
You really have to get into that mercenary mindset. You’re obviously not responsible for your actions, if you’re just executing tasks someone else wants you to do. Smh
Now that you mention it, I know that I was aware of that featured. Either it didn’t work or I don’t remember it correctly why I got stuck there. It’s been a few years now.
I’ve never touched any game of this series. If I need to replay a section or fight in a game more than 3 times it annoys me so much, I need to take a break. This often led to me never playing that game again, because only thinking about being stuck at that spot again kills all the fun for me.
In Cyberpunk for example my car got stuck in the middle of nowhere by a glitch and I would have needed to walk for god knows how long to find another vehicle. Needless to say I never played that game again, even though I was not nearly even half way through and liked it up until that point.
You just have to constantly fire the turrets downwards near the failed turbine to keep everything level. I don’t see an issue there at all.
There are extensions on Firefox for Android that do this for you. I think it’s very accessible.
