I’ve only ever seen a few episodes but I don’t know how accurate this is at all.

We got one of those after the Northridge quake of 94. Great thing to have!
You should look into it. Apparently it was quite a performance increase. I don’t understand all the technical details, but it is very cool to see what large enterprises do at scale.
There is absolutely no way that’s true lol
So why did Facebook build that whole system of converting C++ to PHP or whatever they did? Was it because they didn’t understand the savings? Or when you scale that high, the savings really are significant? Were there savings?
Edit to subtract: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HHVM is what it eventually turned into, and apparently it showed significant improvements even above the previous system.
I haven’t seen a single grocery store that doesn’t accept checks. Still a thing here in western Washington.
Yep, I was just agreeing with someone else saying this is unenforceable. Just a ridiculous ploy and an attempt to make it precedent.
I honestly think it’s just a ridiculous ploy and that the product is fine. We need a proper regulatory system instead of this junk. I do think it’s unenforceable though.
I love this comment! But we should definitely be fighting hard against the mass criminalization of shoplifting. They’ll send pigs out for a $5 lipstick.
Now I understand the bastardization of the term “raw dog” to describe staring at nothing.
Aside from the fact that plenty of people still have sex as they get older, it doesn’t exactly look like they’re just having a random physical affair, does it?
OK so down the chain you clarified that you meant selective critical thinking. Sure, I mean, It’s not even just right wingers who do this; decent people do it too.
That being said, I think it’s inherent in critical thinking that it is not selective. That’s a fundamental feature. So I wouldn’t agree that critical thinking has gotten us into anything…
Misteloct is 100% correct about how they evade capture, but they will usually leave some evidence. Just having websites is evidence. So we must be diligent and think longterm, but we will get these bastards.
They do great work. I nearly joined the FBI to aid in work like this. It does restore some faith indeed.
Anyone who refers to delivery as “chauffeuring” should be forced to listen to unrecognizable music at volume level 1.
Thank you!! I’ve been saying this for years. I have always said that I shouldn’t be forced to train Google’s trash software just because I want to go on some random website. It’s infuriating.
When I’m dictator, any country that does something like this will be carpet bombed.
Tomatoes are fun guys indeed.
