they’ve had reports of "non-citizens spoofing signatures on the EU initiative
I was afraid this might be happening. Let’s hope it won’t cause more harm than good.
I just encountered the OP of that post today, saying EU is not real. You just can’t with these people.
Precisely. “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof” and all that
Also the EU isn’t real. Grow up
What?
Lemm.ee was my first fedi home. It will never be forgotten.
I suffer in these summers, but I still prefer this suffering to the winter. Winter is too depressing. Christmas is about all that is nice about Winter.
I was not aware how long the sync was in beta. Damn.
It actually can sync, using Nextcloud. But when I tried to use it it the sync acted up every once in a while.
Everyone has whatsapp and not signal is pretty much the gist of it
Interesting question! I think if you go to the core ideas, escape and imagination.
Never really thought about it, but I guess it takes me to the time when I played as a kid, thinking up these worlds and stuff.
Wow, well, with such a property at your disposal that doesn’t sound as bad as it first did.
Are there activities with which you compensate this? What do you do for fun?
I went with Mint and it is great. Gives me Windows 98 vibes, inca good way. It is really intuitive.
You will need the terminal only for some more advanced stuff and maybe some setup steps, like getting Proton VPN. You really just copy and paste the commands Proton has in their instructions, that’s it. Mint is not officially supported but works fine - only issue I have is that while it launches on startup just fine, I have to connect manually. Support wouldn’t help as Mint is “not officially supported” but that’s about it.
Switching to Linux looks like a monumental task at first, but once you establish a beginer friendly distro you’d like to use it’s really straightforward. I can vouch for Mint in this regard.
I want to get into whittling, so thanks for the tip on the channel!
Yes, but what isnthe prize? Is the prize real? Or is it just a construct that we imagine because we expect it? Can you even truly experience the prize?
There were also cases of people adopting gods. Just going “hey, this god you worship is cool, going to worship the god as well”
I do hope you forgot to include the /s…
Rats are awesome pets. If only they lived longer.
Though I will concede, surprise wild rats would be problematic.
Well it got one thing right, but missed important context. Aushwitz was primarily a labor camp and crematoria like they had there couldn’t handle it. Aushwitz had the extermination just like a side hustle, so they didn’t need it too big.
Now the likes of Birkenau, not far from Aushwitz - that was a death camp. And with much more massive crematoria to handle the death toll. And that crematoria was destroyed by Nazis when it was clear the Allies will reach them because it was clear evidence of genocide.
Aushwitz is an important site and while chilling and terrible, it doesn’t compare to what was happening elsewhere.
