there are so many games on the market atm, if you come back to it 5 years later it’s probably selling at 15% of the original RRP, still the same game with ALL DLCs + all bugs fixed + QoL updates if they’re nice.

Sadly this is something that will hard to regulate… You can’t really just pass a law to enforce things, and you can’t trace where the money went.
