    omelette egg cooker

    I bought this omelette egg cooker from daiso a while ago and threw the instructions manual away. Now I forgot how to use this thing… Does anyone use something similar and have any instructions I can follow? 😂

      Could it be used in microwave? I did a google search and found some similar one, and they cooked it in microwave

        Yeah I forgot to mention it’s for microwave use, but I’m not sure about the temperature to use(I also remember there being multiple steps in the manual). I’ve burnt food before in the microwave and it’s not a pleasant experience.

          In this cooking guide it says:

          How Long to Cook an Omelette in Microwave Oven

          Once your plate is covered well with plastic wrap, you can transfer to the microwave to cook! In my 1000-watt microwave, my omelette needed just 2 minutes.

          But, how long to cook an omelette in the microwave might vary slightly—depending on the type and wattage of microwave that you have. You may need to cook it for a little bit longer if you have a lower-wattage microwave, or for a bit less time if you have a higher-wattage machine.

          So umm i think you need to monitor it, set it to 2 min and see how long for yours to cook.

          Time to experiment i guess ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

            My very simple microwaving trick esp if you don’t know the settings (meeeee), whatever the basic option is, turn that on for 20 secs first, for eggs, then you check the doneness and also shake shake a bit. Then nuke it for another 20 secs. Another way to decide how done you want is to track the pops. Watery stuff like eggs will have uneven pops but that does tell you parts of it is pretty much cooked. I usually pause and shake after the first couple of pops.

            Yes, very science.

              Haha, that’s basically are what recommended, gotta just eyeball it to know the doneness
