There was a tsunami warning for Sabah’s eastern coast due to a 7.7/7.6 earthquake in Mindanao before last midnight. I know this from NHK World; the TV channel was issuing warnings for some Japan coastal areas too.

Nothing major happened, and this was the assessment.
