Just last week I noticed how the big storm drain behind Kajang wet market (super smelly as all kinds of rubbish from the pasar gets dumped into it every day) is full of large tilapia fish.
I’m not lmao calls up the Jurassic Park quote - for these otters in particular tho, it’s like seeing wolves in the American wild e.g. Yellowstone Park. It’s a good sign to see apex predators in previously depleted ecosystem, iirc.
