    forgot to make saeujeot sauce (fermented shrimp sauce)… no wonder i felt like it was missing the umph and i had to use sea salt flakes lol.

      Pork:

      • 1 kg fresh pork belly
      • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
      • 2 tablespoons of doenjang
      • 1 big onion quartered
      • 1 bulb of garlic
      • 1 smol biji ginger
      • 1 cup of coffee (hazelnut preferred)
      • enough water to cover the pork

      boil for maybe 1 hour then lower the heat and simmer for another 15-20 minutes. do not overcook it it will fall apart when you cut it.

      quite bland so the fermented shrimp sauce is a must also (forgot to make today):

      • 1 table spoon saeujeot
      • 1 teaspoon sugar
      • gochugaru to taste
      • water to taste
      • minced garlic (a bit)
      • sesame seeds ( a bit)
