It’s okay, just one step at a time and you’ll be fine!

I woke up to an fb marketplace listing of mine going viral - 76 views and 11 saves in just a couple of days of relisting. This is a niche camera equipment btw, listed for 5 weeks already.

Sold it yesterday for well below market value. I should have deliberated the buyers offer for a bit longer and wait for offers instead of just saying yes to his lowballing and sell it to him… oh well.

Sorry to hear that… I tend to do that too! Especially when something been sitting around for a while with no bites. We’ve heard of buyer’s regret, I guess this can be called seller’s regret, haha

maybe i’ve been desensitised by too many lowballers, the moment someone acts decent I will go out of my way to close the deal…

I will be putting up another camera of mine to flip, essentially 50-70% of pure profit, here’s to hoping that the market and its players will treat me nice lol

Was driving and the AWD failed and I drove home with just FWD haha.

When I got home it fixed itself and I have AWD again.

What’s the English version of “dapat betis nak peha?” 🤔

Give them an inch and they will take a yard/mile? Quite wordy I know.

I looked it up and the strangest result appears: camel’s nose.

Apparently it’s a Victorian era, and Victorian made, idiom about an Arabian idiom of letting just the camel’s nose in the tent, which eventually results in the entire camel being under it.

I also first thought of that Chinese proverb, which is literally “get an inch, advance to a foot”.

      Literal? Get calf, want thigh

Figurative? Hmm… maybe ‘Wants a ton for an ounce?’
